Sight seeing with Anna
Anna's a lady from Germany who's travelling solo for a few days so we caught up and went to see a few sights together.
Below is the Cape Town Stadium, this is very close to where i am staying but i haven't done the tour as been running all over trying to see everything:-) Its shaped like a traditional african hat costing 4.5 billion Rand!!! Best known from the 2010 world cup.
The big wheel based near the waterfront for full harbour views...stunning!

The seals must love the attention at the harbour but its a beautiful place to eat and drink
Smiley Anna as we boarded the bus to go explore a little further a field ... ding ding!!!
On our way passing through Hout Bay, it is like a british seaside fishing village whitee sands and clear waters...fish and chips anyone????
You can see the township as you enter over the tops, complete contrast from its incredible surroundings!
I fell in love with camps bay...a millionaires playground think it starts at 6 million an appartment but would definitely return when i win the lotto!!!

Stunning beaches no wonder it has the reputation for one of the worlds best surf locations...billy winds blowing them waves!!!

After a tough day lapping up the sun (sorry liz and yes getting a little sunburn...)The only thing left for us to do was raise a large glass or 2, 3 and say cheers to capetown for a great stay so far and heres to the adventures down the garden route.
Ok and i'll raise a glass to you guys back home, out of sight not out of mind,

DeleteGreat kids guys...number of children depends on weather lol class size 46 today!!! hot day so been having some fun in the sand too,theyre full of smiles :) they said its been a 'lekker' (= good) day i'll update blog soon for more info. hope ur all keeping well ?? so nice to hear from u XxxHaha, insanely jealous... i don't believe it...although did i mention what an amazing place south africa is, lovely people, great food, been attempting to bang a drum and sing haha oh and no snow here just a layer of suncream for warmth:) Charlie Boardmans out here so i've heard at the moment,he could do with a partner in crime on his bike;)
